Microneedling is a noninvasive procedure that uses a device that contains very thin needles to create micro-injuries in the skin to create channels so that growth factors and hylaronic acid can penetrate into the top layer of your skin. The punctures from the needles also stimulate natural wound healing process and encourage collagen and elastin production. This renews the skin and addresses signs of aging; helps smooth texture, skin firmness, softening of wrinkles, and a reduction in scars and pore size. Also referred to as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), it can also be used to treat problems like acne scars, hyperpigmentation, and sun damage.
What to expect after a Session
After your treatment, your skin will be slightly pink and puffy for up to 24 hours. It is also common to feel some tightness and/or tenderness to the treated area the following day. This is a normal reaction. Approximately 2-3 days after the treatment, you may experience some dryness and light flaking. We strongly recommend using a medical-grade growth factor to boost skin rejuvenation and repair. We carry many different products for post treatment. Is Microneedling painful?
